The VY Optical Dove Prism is an optical prism designed to achieve rotation, retroreflection, or image inversion. Its unique shape resembles a triangular rightangle prism with the top cut off or truncated. It performs best under collimated light, although its relatively long length (approximately four times the height) may introduce significant scatter when used with converging light.
