And during the Mid-Autumn Festival, there is one more circle that matters in China:
the full moon.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the traditional holidays in China. It is a time for families to get together, share mooncakes, and enjoy the full moon.
This year, VY Optics will also take a short break for the holiday.
Our Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday Schedule
Holiday: September 25–27, 2026
Normal work will resume on September 28, 2026.
During the holiday, replies to emails, technical discussions, quotations, and order processing may be a little slower than usual.
However, you are still welcome to send us your inquiry at any time.
If you have a new optical project, drawing, specification, or RFQ, our team will review it as soon as we return.
Have an Optical Project During the Holiday?
Many custom optical projects do not start with a complete specification.
Sometimes a customer only has a camera model.
Sometimes there is only a drawing, a target field of view, a working distance, or a defect size that needs to be detected.
That is completely fine.
At VY Optics, we can support projects from the early optical evaluation stage through design, manufacturing, assembly, and alignment.

What Information Is Helpful for an RFQ?
If you are planning a custom lens or optical system, the following information can help us evaluate the project more quickly:
- wavelength or spectral range
- sensor size and pixel size
- field of view
- working distance
- focal length, if known
- resolution or defect size requirement
- mechanical space
- interface or mount
- operating environment
- expected quantity
For an inspection application, a sample image, part drawing, or photo of the inspection area can also be very useful.
You do not need to prepare everything before contacting us.
In many cases, we can help identify the missing parameters during the technical discussion.
A Short Break, Then Back to Optics
The Mid-Autumn Festival gives our team a few days to spend time with family.
After that, it is back to lenses, drawings, optical alignment, and customer projects.
