Dome lenses are hemispherical windows that provide a protective boundary while allowing a clear view between the two environments.The Dome lens helps correct the aberrations that occur when light passes through water instead of air. A dome lens can give better results than an optical window, and also makes it easier or possible to obtain some results that an optical window cannot capture.
